Brad got his start in Numismatics in 1980, working for North American Coin and Currency in Phoenix Az. He started as a salesman and ended up as head of the numismatics department in 3 years. He left Phoenix and took a job with the Rarities Group outside of Boston Ma. It is there that he got a first hand look at the truly rare coins available on the market, as he and the owner of the company, Martin Paul, attended every major auction in the country. From Boston, he moved to Connecticut and started work with Bernie Rome, the founder of Teletrade Inc.
Brad was on the original staff of Teletrade in 1986 and stayed with them until they moved to the West Coast in 2003. He described over 2,000,000 graded coins for auctions as well as wrote all Auction Catalogs including “Teletrade Notes “ a weekly column in every catalog. Besides creating the Auction Catalogs he traveled weekends to obtain consignments. As Senior Vice President He worked with a staff of over a dozen people and produced 3 auctions a week for many years. In Addition he wrote and edited the Teletrade Prices Realized Catalog at the end of each year.
For the past 10+ years he has managed 2 stores located in Manhasset and Levitown Long Island for Coin Galleries of OysterBay. He dealt with all aspects of running a successful store times 2!
Brad is a Certified Numismatic Advisor with a degree from Adelphi University. He also has a BBA from Western Ct University, with graduate work from Post University. He is a life member of the American Numismatic Association.
